Camlock Coupling Introduction
Camlock Coupling is one of the best choices for applications in fluid handling, which is designed to quick connect and disconnect fittings on pipe or hose. In detail, camlock coupling assemblies quickly and conveniently by inserting the camlock adapters into the camlock couplers and closing the camlock handles simply under normal hand pressure to complete joint. And the safety clips are enclosed and expected to prevent the camlock handles from sudden disconnection during use.

Camlock coupling is also named as “camlock fitting”, “cam lock”, “cam-lock coupling”, “kamlok”, “kamlock”, “cam and groove quick coupling”, etc.

Camlock coupling is available in a variety of material to meet different demand of different kinds of liquids. The material is usually available in aluminum, brass, stainless steel (ss316L, ss316 & ss304), polypropylene and nylon.

Camlock coupling comes in a wide range of sizes and types:
Sizes of camlock coupling: 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2”, 2”, 2-1/2”, 3”, 4”, 6”.
Types of camlock coupling:
Type A has a male grooved adapter and a female pipe thread (BSP or NPT thread) of the same size.
Type B has a female camlock end and a male pipe thread of the same size;
Type C has a female camlock on one end and a male hose tail on the other;
Type D has a female camlock end and a female pipe thread of the same size;
Type E has a male camlock on one end and a male hose tail on the other;
Type F has a male grooved adaptor and a male pipe thread of the same size;
Type DC has a female camlock duct cap;
Type DP has a male camlock duct plug.

Camlock Coupling is manufactured in accordance with A-A-59326 (MIL-C-27487) Standard and is very popular due to its simple structure and easy operation.
